PPP forgiveness application approved for MassHealth application

A MassHealth provider application has been approved for the PPP-based MassHealth forgiveness application program, according to the Department of Health and Human Services.

The MassHealth program is intended to provide assistance to individuals with pre-existing medical conditions, including cancer, diabetes, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease and other neurological disorders.

MassHealth offers grants to help pay for treatment, testing and services that include medications and treatments for conditions like these.

The department said the MassHealth grant application was approved on Tuesday.

The MassHealth grants are meant to help meet the health needs of individuals in Massachusetts who are eligible.

MassHealth is one of four grant programs that are eligible for funding under the MassPOP program.

The others are the Palliative Care Application for People Living with MS, the Pregnancy Care Grant Program, and the Prenatal Care Grant program.
